Gemstones Press was founded by Glenda Lawrence in 2002, when she experienced a profound vision. Having faced trauma in her early years, Glenda envisioned the words ‘Gemstones Press’ emblazoned in a rainbow. Initially overwhelmed, she realized the vision signified that all humans, especially those who have been oppressed, are precious gemstones. This vision fuels our commitment to adolescent empowerment and sustainability, supporting young people through life's challenges with the tools they need to thrive.

Gemstones Press CIC is dedicated to supporting adolescents and emerging adults, recognising them as a priority population deserving of effective interventions. We employ strategies to maximise their potential, including peer crowd targeting for health education. Our aim is to provide the support and tools needed for young people in the East Midlands and beyond to navigate life's challenges and build a sustainable future.
